Forest School Plus Workshops

Changes from the Stone Age to the Iron Age (KS2) - The Bronze Age Burial

The Bronze Age Burial workshop includes activities to develop an understanding of how archaeologists find evidence and build up a picture of prehistoric times from excavation, artefacts, science and experiments. This workshop has been developed in consultation with Ian Roberts, consultant archaeologist. This workshop can be a half day for 1 class (£150) or a full day for 2 classes (£210). 

 

The Roman Empire and its impact on Britain (KS2 ) - The Romans are Coming!

The romans are Coming! workshop includes activities to develop an understanding of view point and change over time. Pupils will gain understanding of the power and oeganisation of the Roman Army and Britsih resistance.This workshop has been developed in consultation with Ian Roberts consultant archaeologist. This workshop can be a half day for 1 class (£150) or a full day for 2 classes (£210). 

 

Seasonal Change and Identification of British Flora and Fauna (KS1 – KS2)

Through Forest School or Nature Play activities pupils will begin to recognise plants and animals and develop understanding of seasonal change.

 

Tree Tales or Poet-Tree (FS-KS2)

Pupils can find out about myths and legends associated with trees and develop their vocabulary in a natural environment to inspire creative writing.

 

Nature Art (FS-KS2)

Natural materials can be used to make images and sculptures. Pupils can be inspired by the work of artists, reflect on their learning and express their feelings.

 

Bespoke Inset

Tina has delivered; inset in school both inside and outside the classroom, conference workshops and exhibitions and Forest School Taster Days. She is a co-ordinator for the Leed Forest School Cluster organising termly meetings to network with and support other practitioners.
