Forest School Plus Experiences @HerdFarm Feedback 2017

In August 2018 fantastic feedback continues to be the norm. Recently we had a group of Foster Carers and their families visit us at Herd Farm for a Prehistoric Playday. We did a bespoke session focusing on fun activities for familes to share including den building, firelighting and cooking over a fire.  "Best day ever!" said one young visitor.?

In January 2017 Forest School Plus was visited at Herd Farm by the education team from Flag Fen and Peterborough Museum (Vivacity). Our intergration of Archaeology and Forest School to create an immersive learning experience for KS2 pupils to learn about prehistory they considered to be best practise. Ian has written a short article on the relationship between archaeology and forest school.
